May 15: Stayed late in the office and took the bus for a change. Light rain which escalated in the evening. Came home to a bit of devastation.
May 14: Farewell dinner to Matt with Eric. I got my waffle iron and kettle bell.
May 14: Farewell lunch for Jeremy and Matt in a vegetarian restaurant. Lydia attended as well.
May 12: Floorball in Songjiang in noon and a great bbq party later in the evening. This was a fun day.
May 11: Farewell dinner for Elaine, Jeremy and Matt in a Korean restaurant in Gubei. Didn’t stay late because tomorrow is the floorball game in Songjiang.
May 10: Skipped De Refter tonight because tomorrow we’ll have yet another farewell party.
May 9: Woke up at 1 am to watch USA vs Finland ice hockey match. This was the day when I forgot my bank card in the ATM. Too tired.
May 8: Worked late as usual. A “friend” gave me a lift back home. Had a conference call until midnight or so.
May 7: Worked really late and barely made it home before the business ethics test started. Couldn’t go online at home so I missed the test in the end. Will have to try again next month. Photo from outside the office. Netanyahu was still in the house.
May 6: Apparently the prime minister of Israel visited our office building today. The security measures were out of this world. Even more so than when Obama was visiting.
Had lunch with colleagues in Big Bamboo and dinner with Frank at Piro. All in all a good day.
May 5: Did some re-takes for a Frank’s cooking show at zhainanzuofan.com.
May 4: The morning after my birthday woke up to a nice view. Played football in the afternoon.
May 3: Birthday. Took half day off and enjoyed a small staycation in Park Hyatt. Also had some fine Italian food to celebrate the occasion.
May 2: First day at the office after the break. Wore a tie but I still didn’t feel too busy. My theory from last week was false.
